WHICH PAYMENT METHODS DO YOU ACCEPT?

We accept card payments, cash or BACs transfer.

HOW OFTEN SHOULD MY CHIMNEY BE SWEPT?

As a minimum it is recommended that you have your chimney swept at least once a year. 

Specific intervals will largely depend upon factors such as the type of fuel used, the appliance that you have, the duration and frequency of it's use and the type of chimney.

The National Association of Chimney Sweeps (NAC's) provide the below sweeping frequencies for guidance purposes only:-

  • Smokeless fuel: At least once a year

  • Wood: Quarterly when in use

  • Bituminous coal: Quarterly when in use

  • Oil: Once a year

  • Gas: Once a year

During Ian and/or Sam's visit they will be able to best advice you regarding the frequency in which you should look to have your chimney swept

DO I GET A CERTIFICATE ISSUED UPON COMPLETION OF A SWEEP?

Yes you will be issued with a certificate of sweeping.

WILL I GET A REPORT ON COMPLETION OF A CCTV INSPECTION?

No, we do not provide a specific report, we primarily use CCTV as a diagnostic tool. However, any findings will be written on your relevant certificate issued by us.

WHAT SHOULD I BURN IN MY LOG BURNER?

We recommend kiln dried wood or wood that has been seasoned for a minimum of a year.
